Raj Bhavan and JNTU to Become Flagship Energy-Efficient Campuses

Ambitious Afforestation Drive to Boost Green Cover

The Governor also emphasized the importance of increasing the state’s green cover. Recognizing the critical role of trees in mitigating climate change and enhancing the environment, a significant afforestation drive is planned. The target: to achieve 50% green cover by the year 2047.
