Some journeys begin with struggle, but end in transformation. Piyush Nagar, founder of Credit Samadhaan, turned his early hardships into a mission: to ensure that millions of Indians are not denied financial opportunities due to low credit scores.
From Early Hardship to Entrepreneurship
At just eight years old, Piyush lost his father and had to shoulder responsibilities beyond his years. Selling ice candies and taking small sales jobs to fund his education, he learned resilience and grit early in life.
Despite these challenges, he became an engineer and, in 2009, founded Sixth Sense IT Solutions, a global IT firm serving 4,000+ clients, including corporates, MNCs, and government organizations. Yet, Piyush’s mission extended far beyond business success.
A Turning Point in Credit Access
While working with a rural fintech startup, Piyush uncovered a shocking reality:
-
Out of 1 lakh loan applications, nearly 99,300 were rejected
-
Over 70% of rejections were due to poor credit scores
He realized millions of hardworking Indians — farmers, entrepreneurs, and homebuyers — were losing opportunities not because of ambition or effort, but because of a number on a credit report.
Determined to create change, he spent 1.5 years researching solutions, ultimately launching Credit Samadhaan, India’s first AI-powered Credit Score Rectification & Repair platform.
AI Meets Human Support
Credit Samadhaan repairs credit scores across CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, and CRIF in as little as 45 days, combining AI efficiency with human guidance.
Piyush also introduced Credit Samadhaan Kendras across 18 states, creating financial solutions and local employment opportunities, making technology accessible while generating social impact.
Tackling India’s Credit Challenges
The credit crisis in India is significant:
-
40% of home loan borrowers pay extra interest
-
80% of Kisan Credit Card applicants are rejected
-
36% of small businesses are denied capital
-
31% of auto loans are rejected
-
Real estate loses $2.65B annually
-
Nearly 28 lakh CIBIL complaints in FY 2023–24
Credit Samadhaan provides a pathway to financial stability for millions.
