Palaniswami Now BJP’s Voice, Says Stalin Over HR&CE Education Row

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has accused AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami of echoing the BJP’s stance. Stalin’s criticism stems from Palaniswami’s opposition to the establishment of schools and colleges under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department.

Stalin emphasized that legal provisions within the HR&CE Act permit the establishment of educational institutions under the department’s purview. He questioned Palaniswami’s understanding of these existing laws, suggesting the AIADMK leader’s objections are politically motivated and aligned with the BJP’s position.

Stalin Questions Palaniswami’s Motives

The Chief Minister’s remarks highlight the ongoing political tension between the ruling DMK and the opposition AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. The debate over the HR&CE Department’s role in education adds another layer to this complex political landscape.
