To maintain a watchful eye on the pilgrimage, a dedicated control room has been established at the DGP’s headquarters. This allows for real-time monitoring of the Yatra route, enabling swift responses to any emerging situations. The control room plays a crucial role in coordinating security efforts and ensuring the safety of the devotees.
Combating Misinformation and Ensuring Safety
An eight-member team is actively working to counter the spread of misinformation, a critical step in maintaining peace and order during the Yatra. In addition, 24/7 patrolling has been initiated across all major roads along the pilgrimage route. This visible presence of law enforcement aims to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to the devotees.
