Empowering Tribal Students: Eklavya Schools Launch Career Counselling Platform with UNICEF

A new initiative is set to empower tribal students attending Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across India. In partnership with UNICEF, the government has launched a dedicated career counselling platform designed to provide personalized guidance and support.

Personalized Career Paths Through Aptitude Testing

The program centers around a common aptitude test that each student will undertake. This test will generate a personalized “career card” outlining potential career paths best suited to the individual’s strengths and interests. This innovative approach aims to provide clear direction and inspire students to explore a wider range of opportunities.

Holistic Development with Life Skills Training

Beyond career guidance, the platform also incorporates crucial life skills training. This holistic approach equips students with essential skills to navigate challenges, build confidence, and thrive in their chosen careers. By combining personalized career advice with practical life skills development, the initiative aims to unlock the full potential of these talented young people.
