Indore, Madhya Pradesh – True champions are defined not by victories alone, but by the courage to rise after every fall. Coach Amay Lashkari, founder of ALET Sports Academy, has transformed personal struggles into a mission to empower India’s youth through sports.
A Vision Emerges in Dwarkapuri
Hailing from Dwarkapuri, Indore, Amay dreamt of a sports academy that would produce champions who excel not only in skills but in character. His dedication was so profound that he sold his own car to fund training in Fencing, one of the world’s most expensive martial arts disciplines, showing his commitment to nurturing young talent regardless of obstacles.
Overcoming Life’s Challenges
Even while battling sciatica paralysis, Amay continued mentoring students and transforming them into skilled coaches, ensuring his knowledge endured.
Life tested him further when some students tried to claim credit for his work, stating:
“We ran your classes while you only watched.”
Choosing integrity over confrontation, Amay walked away, leaving behind his creation but not his principles.
Standing by Principles
When asked to abandon a young girl from the Valmiki community, Amay refused:
“No one ever gains by abandoning their mother. I will never leave what I built.”
Though former students became rivals, Amay remained steadfast, proving that true leadership is rooted in values.
A Mentor’s Words and a New Beginning
Inspired by his mentor Master Saeed Alam, who said:
“Even when the sun hides behind clouds, its light never fades. Your time will come,”
Amay began coaching a new team in Mhow, including Devaraj Khode, the captain, who believed only Amay could lead them to success. Amay welcomed them, declaring:
“You played even when defeat was certain — just to be part of my team. For that, I accept you as my disciple.”
The Rebirth of ALET Sports Academy
From that moment, ALET Sports Academy was reborn — stronger, united, and committed to instilling discipline, dedication, and national pride in every student.
Today, the academy celebrates a milestone: 20 players have been selected to represent Madhya Pradesh at the 21st National SBI Karate Championship 2025 in Kanyakumari.
A Legacy of Courage and Inspiration
From personal sacrifice to rebuilding his academy after betrayal, Coach Amay Lashkari has proven that true champions are defined by resilience, integrity, and the ability to uplift others.
ALET Sports Academy is more than a sports institution — it is a movement inspiring India’s youth to dream big, train hard, and achieve excellence through sports.
