Tiruvallur Train Fire: Back on Track – Commuter Services Resumed

The Southern Railway has brought relief to commuters following the recent freight train fire incident in Tiruvallur. After swift restoration work, train tracks are now operational again.

EMU Train Services Return to Normal

As of July 14th, suburban Electrical Multiple Unit (EMU) trains, also known as local trains, have resumed service between Moore Market Complex (MMC) and Tiruvallur, as well as between MMC and Arakkonam. To ensure smooth and convenient travel for commuters, special EMU trains are operating at 30-minute intervals.
