India and Saudi Arabia Partner for Long-Term Fertilizer Security

In a significant move to bolster India’s agricultural sector, major Indian fertilizer companies have finalized a crucial agreement with Ma’aden, a leading mining company in Saudi Arabia. This landmark deal guarantees a steady supply of 3.1 million metric tons of Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer every year, commencing from 2025-26 and extending for five years.

Securing India’s Agricultural Future

This agreement comes as welcome news for Indian farmers, ensuring they have access to the essential nutrients required for robust crop production. DAP is a vital fertilizer, providing crops with phosphorus and nitrogen, key elements for healthy growth and high yields.
