Ramprastha Promoters & Developers Face ED Action: ₹681.54 Crore in Assets Seized
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken significant action against Ramprastha Promoters & Developers, attaching assets totaling ₹681.54 crore. This move comes as a result of the company’s failure to deliver possession of properties in several of its projects, leaving thousands of homebuyers in limbo.
Delayed Projects Leave Homebuyers Stranded
The affected projects, including Project Edge, Project Skyz, Project Rise, and Ramprastha City, were launched between 2008 and 2011. Despite promises, homebuyers are still waiting for possession, enduring delays of 14 to 17 years. This has caused immense financial and emotional distress to those who invested their hard-earned savings into these properties.
ED Investigation and Asset Attachment
The ED’s investigation revealed alleged financial irregularities and diversion of funds, leading to the attachment of assets. This action aims to recover some of the losses incurred by the affected homebuyers and hold the developers accountable.
