Massive Meth Bust: Assam Rifles Seize ₹112.4 Crore Worth of Drugs in Mizoram

In a significant blow to drug trafficking, the Assam Rifles have seized a massive haul of methamphetamine tablets worth an estimated ₹112.4 crore in Mizoram’s Champhai district. This operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat the flow of illegal narcotics in the region.

Drugs Handed Over to Local Police for Investigation

Following the successful seizure, the recovered methamphetamine tablets were handed over to the police department in Zokhawthar town. The authorities will now conduct a thorough investigation to identify the individuals and networks involved in this illicit drug trade.
