Coimbatore Blasts Fugitive ‘Tailor’ Raja Found After 29 Years

A man accused in the 1998 Coimbatore serial blasts, who had been on the run for 29 years, has finally been apprehended. Known as ‘Tailor’ Raja, the former Al Ummah member had been living a seemingly ordinary life in Karnataka.

Raja, once allegedly associated with the banned extremist group Al Ummah, had managed to evade authorities for nearly three decades. He had established a new identity as a chilli trader and built a family, living quietly with his wife and children.
